Welcome
St Mary Madresfield is one of four churches forming the Benefice of Powick, Guarlford and Madresfield with Newland.
This group of churches has adopted the friendly name of Old Hills Malvern and has an exciting new website where details of services and events can be found:
http://www.oldhillsmalvern.co.uk
Revd Gary Crellin was instituted to the Benefice by Bishop Graham on 27th May 2018. If you would like to discuss either a wedding, baptism, funeral, home visit or indeed any other matter please contact Rev Gary - click the 'Get in touch' tab on the left of the page for contact details.
Service times are subject to change so be sure to check either the back of "The Grapevine" parish magazine, the church noticeboard or the website mentioned above.
There are strong links with Madresfield C of E School located opposite the church, and parents are encouraged to join their children when events are held in church.
A popular Childrens' Service for pre-school children and parents is held at 2:00 pm, now on occasional Tuesdays in term time, lasting about thirty minutes. Details of this can also be found on the noticeboard page of the Parish of Guarlford website.
A team of volunteers from the parish are part of the Open the Book project, and each week the team visits Madresfield C of E School to present Bible stories during assembly, often dramatizing them. These assemblies are very popular with the children, who enjoy being involved in telling the stories.
Car parking is available in Madresfield Road outside the church.
A ramp can be made available for wheelchairs - please ask.
There are two large print copies of the hymn book - please ask if you need one.
There is a hearing loop and sound system, and audio devices can be linked into the system to play music for special occasions.
The church is normally locked outside service times; please contact the Rector or a churchwarden if you require access. See also 'Get in touch tab'.
